The city of Udaipur is located in the state of Rajasthan. It boasts amazing views of the lakes and surrounding hills. The homestay lies outside of the old city, closer to the villages in which DAAN has opened centers to promote education in english, math, social and health issues. The first center lies within Havala village and a new center has been opened up in Badgaon Village. |

Chandra Niwas
You will stay at Chandra Niwas, or another similar home stay accommodation, with a very hospitable host family. This homestay is located in a pleasant colony of the town (north of the old city) and is in close proximity to the supermarket, drugstore, bakery, health clinic, and has easy access to public transportation. You will be able to totally immerse yourself in a culture and language different from your own. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn and share languages and cultures with your host family. While staying at the homestay, you will be provided with a private room with an attached bathroom, or if desired a shared room with common bathroom and breakfast in the morning.
